Hello I am using MacBook Pro and Excel for Mac with 365 subscription. Can I use Ultimate Suit for Excel?

Reply

Hello,

Sorry, Ultimate Suite is designed for Windows only and doesn't work on Mac. Please have a look at our Power Tools for Google Sheets as an alternative. The add-on has similar functionality and can be run in a browser on your Mac.

I used VLOOKUPWIZARD to look up email addresses. it appeared to be working, as the desired emails were showing up. but I discovered by accident that the emails displayed were not the email themselves. The actual cell contents were complicated VLOOKUP formulas.

I need to know how to get the actual emails, to drive a mail merge campaign.

Hello Art,

Thank you for contacting us. You see, Vlookup Wizard returns formulas instead of values in case your source data get updated and you need the add-in's results to be refreshed. If however, you need the result to be the value, not formula, use the Covert Values tool next: https://www.ablebits.com/docs/excel-convert-formulas/

If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.

Hi - Is it possible to automatically split the names of new rows added to a sheet using the split name tool?

Thanks

John

BTW - I'd also like to automate date calcs for new rows as well. 🙂

Hi John,

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry, but it is technically not possible to have the add-in running in the background and split the newly added names once they are entered. You need to manually start it each time you want to split, calculate, etc.

Good day

I have one sentence (Heading) to be merged across 3 cells but have text as subheaders
in each of the columns, how do I merge only the top heading across without effecting the
others?
