Select the cells to populate
First select the range you want to fill in your sheet and open the add-on from Add-ons > Random Generator > Start.
You can change the range to fill any time before you click the Generate button by simply selecting the necessary cells in your spreadsheet.
You will see the add-on sidebar with six possible types of random values you can generate.
Select the type of data you'd like to get by clicking on the corresponding group header: Integer, Real, Date, Custom list, Boolean, or Strings.
- You can have only unique integers generated by selecting the "Unique values" check box. If the "Unique values" check box is not selected, the range will be filled with random integers that can be repeated.
- Please note that "From" and "To" fields cannot be empty. If you delete a value, then default or previously entered number will appear in the field.
Once you have the range and conditions set, click on the "Generate" button to get random values.
