Enable Ultimate Suite

Step 1. Check if the add-in is disabled

  1. Click the File tab in Excel 365-2010.
  2. Go to Excel Options > Add-ins:
    View the add-ins.
  3. Click the Manage drop-down list, select Disabled Items, and click Go:
    Here are Disabled Items.
  4. If the add-in is in the list, select it and click the Enable button.
  5. Restart Excel and enable the add-in in COM Add-ins.

Step 2. Enable the add-in in the COM Add-ins dialog box

  1. Click the File tab in Excel 365-2010.
  2. Go to Excel Options > Add-ins:
  3. Click the Manage drop-down list, select COM Add-ins, and click Go:
    Click COM Add-ins.
  4. Find the add-in in the list:
    Find the add-in in the list.
  5. If the add-in is unchecked, check it and click the OK button in the COM Add-ins dialog window.
  6. If the add-in is checked, uncheck it and click OK. Then open the dialog window again and check the add-in item. The tab should appear in the ribbon.
Note. If after this the tabs appeared but next time your started Excel they disappeared again, please change the LoadBehavior registry value from 0 to 3. For this, take the following steps:

  • Click the Start button and start typing "regedit" to open Registry Editor.
  • Navigate to
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\Ablebits.Suite.##############
    and find the LoadBehavior registry value:
    Open Registry Editor.
  • Right-click LoadBehavior and select Modify:
    Click Modify.
  • In the Value data field enter "3" and click OK:
    Enter 3 and click OK.
    As a result, LoadBehavior should be set to 3:
    Check Registry Editor.
  • Open Excel and make sure the tabs have appeared and you can run the add-in.

If there is no Ablebits in Disabled Items (in Office installed from Store)

If you use Office installed from Microsoft Store and there is no Ablebits in Disabled Items or you enabled it but nothing happened, take the following steps:

  1. Update Office.
  2. Uninstall Ultimate Suite.
  3. Check the COM Add-ins dialog box:
    COM Add-ins.
    And if you can see Ablebits in the list, remove it by clicking the Remove button:
    Remove Ablebits from COM Add-ins.
  4. Go to the Download page and get the latest version of the Ultimate Suite edition you use. Install it on your machine.
