How to install and uninstall

Step 1: Find the extension in Chrome Web Store

Go to the extension page directly in the Chrome Web Store.

Or open the Chrome Web Store via your Chrome browser:

1. At the top right corner next to your Chrome profile image, click More (the icon with 3 dots) > Extensions > Visit Chrome Web Store:
   
2. Enter "Shared Email Templates" in the search field at the top and press Enter:
   
3. Find and click Shared Email Templates for Gmail from Ablebits:
   

Step 2: Add it to Chrome

1. When you're on the extension page, click that big dark-blue button: Add to Chrome
   
2. Shared Email Templates will remind you that it requires your permission to work with your Gmail templates. Click Add extension:
   

   Tip. During your work, the extension will ask for extra permissions when necessary. Our Privacy Policy explains required permissions, their purposes, and how Shared Email Templates treats your data.

Step 3: Run Shared Email Templates

Once Shared Email Templates is installed, run it by clicking its icon to the right of the Chrome address bar:

The add-on will appear as a Gmail side panel.

If you see the extension icon next to the address bar

1. Find the Shared Email Templates icon to the right of your Chrome address bar:
   
2. Right-click it and select Remove from Chrome from the drop-down menu:
   
3. Hit Remove once again to confirm:
   

If you don't see the extension icon next to the address bar

• Click the Extensions icon, find Shared Email Templates for Gmail in the list of your apps, click More options (the icon with three dots) and hit Remove from Chrome:
  

  Then again press Remove to confirm:
  

• Alternatively, at the upper right corner of your Chrome select More (the icon with three dots) > Extensions, then Manage Extensions:
  

  Find Shared Email Templates for Gmail there and click Remove:
  

  Repeat with Remove to confirm:
