Attachment Alarm for Microsoft Outlook is very easy to use and requires no hard tuning. You just specify the words and phrases that may occur in the body of the Microsoft Outlook e-mail message and imply an attachment ("see attachments", "see attachment", "in attachment", "the file attached" etc.) and add these words to the Key words list.

Attachment Alarm for Microsoft Outlook add-in scans all outgoing e-mail messages and if it finds words or phrases from the Key words list, it raises the alarm and suggests inserting an attachment in a Microsoft Outlook message.

How to use the Attachment Alarm for Microsoft Outlook add-in

Please go to Outlook menu -> tools -> Attachment Alarm

Add new alarm keywords to check for attachments

• Enter the words you need to the Alarm keyword edit box and click the Add button.

Change alarm keywords

• In the keywords list select the keyword you want to change.
• Enter new words to the Alarm keyword edit box and click the Replace button.

Delete alarm keywords

• In the Keywords list select the item you want to delete and click the Delete button.

Enable or disable alarm keywords

• In the Keywords list check/uncheck the item you want to enable/disable.

Turn the add-in on / off

• Check/uncheck the Enable alarm checkbox to enable/disable the add-in.
