Note&Do works for Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. The tasks you create in the To Do list are application-specific, i.e. the tasks you create in Excel will not be shared in Word and vice versa.
You can easily create a new task on the To Do tab using one of the following 5 ways:

Note! When you use the Add task button, the task will be created at the end of the list.
You will see the task in the edit mode. Type in the necessary data and press Enter to finish up.
Note! The task will be inserted in the place where you right-clicked on the pane.
Tip: If you want to bring the data from the task into your MS Office file, just drag and drop it where you need in the document
You can change the task using one of these options:


Tip: You can make the task text stand out by making it bold: right-click on the task and select the Bold Text option from the menu, or select it and press Ctrl+B on your keyboard.
To quickly distinguish certain tasks on the pane you can categorize them by color:

You will see category color on the right edge of the tasks.Select the task you want to move in the list, left-click and hold and then drag to the position you need. You will see a dark grey line to help you see where the task is going to be inserted.
You can use one of the ways below to complete a task. The text of the completed task will be crossed out and greyed.

Tip: : You can complete several tasks at once. Just hold the Ctrl key while selecting the tasks, right-click on one of them and choose to complete them.

If you have completed tasks that you don't want to delete to keep track of the things you've done, you can hide them so that they don't impede with the tasks you haven't completed yet.
Just select the Hide Completed Tasks check box at the bottom of the pane.
The number in brackets shows the number of completed tasks you have. If you complete tasks with this option enabled, this number will be updated
If you want to work on a completed task, you can re-enable it by marking it as incomplete one of these ways:

Tip: : You can re-activate several tasks at once. Just hold the Ctrl key while selecting the tasks, right-click on one of them and choose to mark them as incomplete.
