Random Generator for Excel is the freeware add-in for Microsoft Excel that generates and fills cells with random values from the selected range.
Using the Random Generator for Excel you can fill the selected cells with:
- Random integers from the selected range.
- Random real numbers from the selected range
- Random dates from the selected range
- Random strings formed by symbols from the selected range
- Random Boolean.
How to generate random values in Excel: 3 easy steps
- In your Microsoft Excel worksheet, select the cells that you want to fill with random values, and open the Random Generator dialog box by clicking on its icon, or go to Excel Menu Ablebits.com -> Random Generator for Excel.
- In the Random Generator dialog select the range and click on the corresponding button (Integer/Real/String/Boolean).
- Click the "Close" button and enjoy the results!
