Find templates in Outlook

Template Phrases is a handy Outlook add-in that lets you forget typing the same text over and over again. You can save the most frequently used phrases as templates and insert them into your emails in a click. If you have a really large collection of texts you can instantly find the necessary templates in Outlook using the Search tab on the add-in pane.

  1. Switch to the Search tab in the Template Phrases pane. Go to Search tab to find templates
  2. Type the keyword(s) that appear either in the title or in the body of the template you are looking for in the Search field. Enter the words from the template you are looking for
  3. As you type, all matching templates are listed in the Template Phrases pane. See search results as you type
  4. Your search entries are saved. If you want to find Outlook templates you looked for earlier, you can access them by clicking a little arrow next to the Search field. See your previous search entries by clicking on this arrow You can paste, edit, delete templates and add or remove them from favorites. If there is anything special you'd like to do, just click on the Go to original icon on the toolbar. Go to the original template by clicking on this icon


You can specify the number of saved search entries and clear the list in the Search options.
