Hi Melanie,

Thank you for choosing our product.

I'm really sorry that you are having difficulties with our add-in.

Please try to do the following:

1. Make sure the add-in isn't disabled:

  - Go to Excel File -> Options->Add-ins

  - Select "Disabled Items" from the "Manage" drop-down list at the bottom of the window and click Go.

  - If the add-in is in the list, select it and click the 'Enable' button.

2. Make sure the add-in loads correctly:

  - Go to Excel File -> Options->Add-ins

  - Select "COM add-ins" from the "Manage" drop-down list at the bottom of the window and click Go.

  - Find the add-in in the list.

  - If it is unchecked, check it and close the "COM Add-ins" dialog.

Please let me know if you still have any issues.

Help! I am unable to see the Able Bits tab in the ribbon. I installed the plugin as the administrator, but I can't access the plugin.

When I go to File>Options>Add-Ins, I can see Trim Spaces listed as an inactive application add-in but there is nothing listed in the Location column. When I click on Manage COM Add-Ins, it lists Trim Spaces as an available add-in but at the bottom of the dialogue box it says "Not loaded: A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-In."

I'm running Excel 2010 (64-bit).

I used to use this plugin and loved it -- can you help me to make it active?

Thanks.

  - Select "Disabled Items" from the "Manage" drop-down list at the bottom of the window and click Go.

Please let me know if you still have any issues.

Hello....

- I went through the steps you've outlined.

- After placing a placing a check next to the item, I selected "OK" and still did not have an icon appear or anything in my Excel menu bar.

- So, I attempted the steps again, but this time rather than checking the item and selecting "OK", I selected 'ADD'.  After clicking 'ADD' another pop-up box appears titled "Add Add-in" and in the 'look in:' box it says AddIns and underneath in the open space for file listings it states 'this folder is empty.'

What must I do?

Please let me know as soon as possible

Hi,

I have followed the add-in instructions by going to Option> Add in> Manage "Com add in" > Enable Duplicate Remover by clicking a tick in the box

I am able to get the add in on my excel by doing the above. However, whenever I exited excel and re-open again, the duplicate remover add-in is gone and I have to repeat the steps above.

How do I solve this problem?

Thanks!

Desmond

Hi - I've just bought the add-in and am trying to run it on Word 2010. My OS is Win7. I've installed is as administrator and it appears on the list of programs in the control panel, but it's not coming up under Add-ins on the Word ribbon. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Hi there I am working with very large files with around 176K rows by over one hundred columns. Ablebits/Excel keeps stopping at 6740 rows then Excel keeps disabling the Add In. Any suggestions? I am against a deadline to produce this data.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for contacting us.

Sorry, we can’t guarantee that our product will work correctly with such large files as you have. Our developers are planning to optimize the add-ins' work, but I cannot give you the exact timing yet.

At the moment we can only recommend you to try processing your data in groups.

If you have other Excel add-ins installed on your PC, you can try to temporarily turn off the other Excel add-ins except Ablebits and check if the issue occurs.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused to you by this.

Thank You

Hello,

I've installed Ablebits as administrator but do not see the Abelbits tab in my excel. When I go to excel options->add ins->manage-> disabled - there are no addins listed that are disabled so Ablebits is not disabled.

When I go to options->addins->manage->COM - Ablebits is not listed at all.

I have uninstalled and installed three times now and not having any luck.  I am using MS Excel 2010.  Please help

Thanks,

Lisa
