How to install/uninstall Word Table Template Manager

To install the add-in.

  1. Close all Microsoft Words's instances.
  2. Run word-table-templates.exe and follow instructions.
  3. Restart Microsoft Word to see the add-in running.

To uninstall the add-in.

  1. Open Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.
  2. Click Change or Remove Programs, then click Word Table Template Manager.
  3. Click Change/Remove to remove the add-in.

Using Word Table Template Manager

To add a new template into the Word Table Templates collection

  1. In your Word document select the table that you want to make a template.
  2. Click the "Add table template" button in the Word Table Templates manager command bar.
  3. Enter a new table template name that will be added to your collection.

  4. Click the OK button.

To add a table template from the Word Table Templates collection

  1. In your Word document set the cursor to the place where you want to have a table and click the "Table templates manager" button.
  2. Select the desired table in the collection tree.

  3. Click the Add button.

To rename a table template or a folder in the Word Table Template collection

  1. Click the "Table templates manager" button.
  2. Select the template or the folder that you want to rename in the collection tree.
  3. Select the Rename item in the popup menu or press F2.

  4. Enter a new template name.
  5. Press Enter.

To delete a template or a folder from the Word Table Template collection

  1. Click the "Table templates manager" button.
  2. Select the template that you want to delete from the collection tree.
  3. Select the Delete item in the popup menu or press Shift+Del.
  4. Confirm than your really want to delete the template.

To add a new folder into the Word Table Template collection

  1. Click the "Table Templates Manager" button.
  2. Select the location in the collection tree where you want to create a new folder.
  3. Select the New Folder item in the popup menu or press F7.
  4. Enter a new folder name.

To move template between folders

Just select the table template you need and drag it to the group you need.
