
I was never big on computers, I didn't know how to use Excel to its fullest potential, and I was far from being an expert on any type of technology... that is until I began working at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Originally from Winston-Salem, I moved to Wilmington to obtain my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Master of Public Administration in 2006 and 2010 respectively.
I was fortunate to begin work for my Alma matter in 2006, and I currently serve as an Assistant Director for Admissions. For the past five years I have been learning from my supervisors, taking courses, and slowly teaching myself how the tools in Microsoft can make my job easier. My interest in writing this blog is to share a bit about how I stumbled my way onto tools that I hope can help you as well.
